Cold Air Intake Kit for E320

Looking for a cold air intake for my 2004 E320. Anyone have a brand/part number that I would be able to use.

Any noticeable change with just a K&N and cold air intake or not worth the effort???

Thanks to all.

I just have the K & N filters in the OEM housing. I don't know exactly what difference it has made since they were installed within the first 1000 miles. However, compared to the loaner cars I have driven, my car seems smoother and it pulls much harder at 3500 RPMs. I don't know if that is when the intake manifold changes length, but it feels totally alive and really pulls.

I have always had K&N air filters on my cars and the main thing I notice is the increase in MPGs. I don't gun the engine enough o really notice a difference. Also, the E320 is too noisy to remove the air filter housing, which is also a sound insulator.

This is all I know,

Steve

why do you think u need a cai? the intake already takes in air from right behind your grill (about as cold as you're going to get). this isn't like my past import cars where the intake sucks in air from behind a headlight (thus hot engine compartment air).

Anyone know where the best place is to get the K&N filters? Also, is there a quick DYI on how to change them?

Thanks,
Sergiu
