Mercedes Sales Down 20.2 % in Jan 05
German Car Fans reports that MB sales in January '05 are down 20.2% against January '04. E Class sales were down 29.5% for the same period. With the factory incentives to dealers of at least $2500 in anticipation of teh new E350, I would have expected greater sales.

Yes, the sales on Jan 05 were down comparing with 04 Jan , because the the promotion on 04 Dec. ( I bought an new S 430 myself..)
The E calss sales were also down. I don't know what is the real reason for it, but from what I see mainly on inventory.
E350 is coming out and there are shortage on E320 in stock.
