Do you know where the picture was taken? I somehow suspect it's not Lancaster/Palmdale on a cold morning. Notice how the ice makes a lump over the tristar on the hood?

In all the years of living in cold places I have never seen this kind of ice storm! This must of been an anomaly of sorts. Freezing rain is just not very common here in Colorado.
As far as getting the car going after this, I think that you really have to wait until the ice melts a lot. There is not way that you could remove enough of this ice to drive it. One reason is that you will probably damage the car and the other is that you will have wheels totally off balance, ice is unforeseeable places and a bunch of other hazards. Talk about grounding your car for a while!!

I am still not able to see the picture. I have tried from 2 computers. Right-click and save did not work. Even printing did not work. I am just not able to get access to the URL. Can someone else download the picture and upload it again to this post. Thanks. Or may be if possible PM to me.

It was taken in Norway
Yeah Norway is what they said. i have a whole bunch of the pix from the ice storm if you like I can send them. but this was the only involving a benz. I would just wait till summer time
