Question Tint Shop in No VA/Wash DC Area?

Sorry if this is not the correct forum, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good tint shop in the Northern VA/Washington DC area. I would appreciate finding one that will replace the window lining with felt (as I read a lot here that scratches can occur otherwise). I called a couple of places and got quotes from $200 to $350. Thanks for any help!

I'm looking too. Most I've found are only doing 3M film, which seems to have mixed reviews on all of the boards I've frequented.

If anyone has an example of a 50% front, 35% rear tint job, I'd love to see pictures. I'm wondering how a Virginia-legal tint job will look against the panorama roof.

I finally got sick of trying to find someone in the area that knew how to cover the window moldings, so I was able to obtain a roll of adhesive backed felt tape from a local window shop. This is the same felt from crlaurence that everyone else uses. Only problem is you have to buy it in a 100 ft roll! So needless to say I have a little extra. If you want to do it yourself I'm sure that I can give you some for cheap.

I just had Huber ceramic film installed for some rooms in my house by a company called Artic Tinting. They don't do cars, but recommended a place in Rockville called Winners Window Tint, (301) 738-8468. Good luck.

i got my w211 tinted (20%) by California Tint(s) in great falls, VA (Colvin Run Rd., off route 7) they did a perfect job, its been about 1.5 yrs now and no problems whatsoever.
highly recommend them. also tinted my old benz there, 5 yr old tints, still perfect, no discoloration, peeling, etc. comes with lifetime warranty, you'll pay about $250, hope this helps!

I won't ask how you got them to do 20% Have Fairfax County's finest ever taken issue with it?

Do you remember what kind of film it was?

they'll hook you up with basically any kind of tint you want, what happens after that is your problem. thank God, no problems, I would hate to get a ticket and have to remove them. they look extremely dark (even with the ash interior) and for some reason seem to be getting darker as time passes. search the forum for a picture I posted
