AOL Review on the new E-Class

Just saw this one. Looks like the technology is what's getting all the press on this new E-Class as expected, as it's pretty remarkable. The drowsiness detector is definitely the most popular.

I like this line describing its looks, pretty much sums up the aesthetic change IMO: "It's not as clean and monolithic as its predecessors, but it is new and different, with a sold nod to the larger S-Class"

One guy reported test driving the car and getting the "coffee cup warning" after a quarter of an hour driving, just when approaching a local coffee-shop. Seems like the system is even more intelligent than MB is explaining, perhaps a deal with MB and Starbucks (in the US)?

That would drive me nuts actually as I don't drink coffee! Haha. Pretty amazing indeed though

I was pretty impressed by that feature, so I did some searching and read about the adaptive headlights, the automatic brake application based on radar, the cameras recognizing speed limits and displaying them on the display all while coordinating with the navagation... WOW...
