It has plates...............I just don't show peoples' plates. I don't know the exact circumstances of this wreck yet. I just thought it was cool to see a new coupe in the shop since I haven't seen one on the streets yet.

What's the estimate to repair? Looks like the car has Distronic.

The very first e sedan in a body shop was probably that one I saw in FJNB's Collision Center the first week of July 2009. I don't know what happened to it though because by the time I saw it, it was fixed, washed, and ready to be picked up.

He probably had to swerve into another lane to avoid a California driver who cut over with no signal.............and then slammed into the other California driver now in front of him(we all know they slam on their brakes for no reason when you just get into a lane behind them). I know it's probably not true..........but we all know it is VERY possible. lol
PS I have nothing against California drivers.............they provide me with lots of work which in turn pays for my toys.

LOL! I don't think any CA driver would be offended... we all know that there are tons of CRAZY CA drivers that "don't know how to drive", driving with a cell phone to their ear (which is illegal now), driving while text messaging, driving while doing make-up, driving while eating/drinking, driving while under the influence, driving while reading the newspaper (yes, I've seen this before)... I guess that's what makes driving "interesting" (sorta like Russian Roulette).
At any rate, when I go to Vegas, I always notice that NV drivers all drive pretty slow and take their time... not that it's a bad thing, but I guess it's a different driving "culture" than CA driving...

I ended up not getting the car to work on...........they gave it to another tech. I did however get to check it out when it was on the lift and before today I did not know that the damn E-Coupe is a C Class. The whole under structure, front structure, rear end, rear floor, etc is all 204 body................with the new Hyundai/Lexus looking outer shell wrapped around the C components. I learned something new today.

Sad to see M-B getting so desperate they're literally badging (and pricing) a C-Class as an E-Class. I also agree that the exterior looks bizarrely underwhelming.
I remember a day when M-B was more concerned about not ruining the name of a higher categoried "Class" to badge anything beneath it, as it.
I'm not huge on the Sedan either, but between the two it is the only true "E-Class".

I have been reading this W212 forum and found there are people criticizing everything(either good or bad thing) about W212 - especially few W211 owners. I understand why they are doing. I start getting tired about their criticizing because same users keep saying same thing over and over again. I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH. Why don't they buy better car(like S65 AMG or Bentley, etc....) than E550 in real world instead of doing such an unproductive thing here (in a virtual world) again and again.. Get real......
