last pic is on a white cl at dealership very nice... i believe those are 21" asanti af 128
I dont think i can do chrome again ... I like the polished/brushed with a chrome lip
maybe some white or black accent very confused...
what you guys think...
any ideas/photoshop jobs would be appreicated thx

Nice looking E. Does the stand up hood ornament come standard on the sedan? I thought the coupe had the star on the grille.
EDIT: NVM, I just looked in the brochure I keep next to the computer (car ****) and it looks like the stand up star is standard on the sedan.

Typical weak argument. Some people just need something newer to feel better about themselves, some confidently use their own taste and opinions to judge which is best. I for one don't follow trends or follow the "newer is better" mind-frame, as well I don't let a car manufacturer or designer tell me that something is an improvement in a subjective area, simply because it's what is currently available.

K-A I think you are losing your arguments not to own the W212. I would say by Spring you will be driving the new E. You may already own one. You may be a closet owner. The suspense keeps us reading your every word. Please,please come out of the closet.

I was thinking to have new E-class after my lease expires, but when I saw this car on NY auto show – I’m looking at S class. Unfortunately E does not exist for me for the next about 7 years.

I've seen some on the streets now (still not all that many at all interestingly though) and have an idea of the cars presence, and it just doesn't strike me like M-B's usually would. As well, I've done some side by sides with my car, and it doesn't do to it what a new model is supposed to do to the old one, when put right next to it.
If I did replace my ride though, it'd probably be for a W221 S or a Jag XF or E92 M3, checked out an XF today, definitely worth the "hype", best in class IMO. Even if I did warm up to the new E, I doubt it'll ever be alluring enough to win over other cars I'd consider.... Unlike the W211, which did take the cake.
Just IMO.

Nah, I already put a lot of thought into it, and had the back and forth of whether I was in denial and really wanting one. I do know I don't like it, although I've calmed down on my distaste, even though I still come here to comment on Threads, etc. with my views.

Those poor drivers of '69 M-B 280 SE Cabriolets, little do they know that a driver in a brand new E-Class is gonna drive by yelling "I'm better than you 'cause you're car is oooolld".

Maybe it is time for you to give it a rest. We all know you do not like this car. Telling us another 100 times will not change anyone's opinion. Time to move on.

Actually, in this Thread my first post had nothing to do with bashing the car, I wouldn't do that to someone's Thread showing off their car, it was simply an answer to something absurd that was said.

Actually, since I never got a chance to comment on the actual car being shown off in this Thread, I think it looks like a nice W212, and that picture of the side profile shows off a nice stance the car has. I still may not be in to it all in all, but in this case it's not the car that sucks, it's the dudes attitude (and grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. ).

Nice looking 350 gmelays,I just ordered one today with a European delivery,capri blue sport,anyway MB would not put the wood/leather steering wheel in the sport edition,I really would like that steering wheel so if anyone has any ideas of how I can get one reasonably priced it would be help full,also any tips on the European delivery would be appreciated,thanks in advance....B777
