Thanks. In Canada, where running lights are compulsory, they are reduced to 10% power when the head lights are deployed.
Service Campaign 2009070001 JUL09 to properly re-calibrate daytime running lamp operation, a software calibration number (SCN) update must be installed
Thank ME!

Under the Convenience feature, I enabled everything under the Lighting menu. My DRL LED (hockey stick) turns ON during the day. At night, everything (HIDs, inner projectors, side markers, and DRL LED) turns ON. My light switch is at "O".
I notice that with those settings mentioned above, and I turn my light switch to "A", the DRL LED turns ON during the day, but it turns OFF at night...only the HIDs, inner projectors, and side markers turn ON.
Hope this helps.
Yes, when my headlights are turned-ON at night, the DRL LEDs will also remain ON (but dimmed from the daytime brightness -- I guess Mercedes does not want them to blind the drivers of the cars ahead.)
(I cannot confirm this, yet I have heard from some C207 owners that without the P2 package, the DRL LEDs will not remain ON when the headlights are turned-ON... Can any other owners confirm this? Thanks.)
Regards,

The DRLs should be ON with the head lights but with much lower intensity. They are full power at daytime when head lights are OFF.

If it operates like this it could be that this dimmed set point in your car is just set to 0% meaning no light at all when head lights are on. Could be as simple as just changing this 0% to something else to make the lights burn with the head lights.
But as I said I'm not sure of this. Just remembering reading about this somewhere.
Do you remember the forum you read that information ? Can you find this topic for me? Does someone else knows whereo find such information ? You kind assistance will b much appreciated
