Telephone Operation in Aux Mode

Can anyone tell me what, if anything, I'm doing wrong when answering a telephone call when I have my phone/MP3 plugged into the Aux jack and listening to the MP3 player. I have tried answering using the "send" and the "phone" buttons on the comand center and steering wheel as well as just pressing the "ok" button. In all cases I can't hear the calling party nor can they hear me. I pressed the mic button to the on position, but still nothing. I can, however, pick up the phone and talk through it, even when its still plugged into the Aux Jack. Am I doing something wrong?

Is your phone connected to the Command system via Bluetooth?

ditto. Even though you have your phone hooked to a cable, it only serves your mp3 functions this way. The phone features have to sync via bluetooth.

Check to see if your address book is available to you when you plug your phone in. If not, you are not connected via blue tooth.
