39 months
15k miles
$2275.00 total out of pocket
8.75% tax rate
$750.00 total payment including tax.
also waived the last 5 remaining payments on me 07 E.

I think it was a pretty good deal with the current lease rate of .00259.
What do you guys think?
Wow..it's the best I've seen till now. And it's 15K miles a year...very good..

MB lease rates change the first of each month. I saved a few bucks on my new ML550 by waiting until Oct 1st and a better money factor.

Diesel - take my word, wait another 1-2 months and you'll get it no more than $650 a month with NY tax. Latest it's gonna happen in February - March.

Good Luck.

That was my original plan to wait but going to need tires very soon and trying to make sense to just get the new car. I will mull it over and see what I can do. I don't want to get new tires just to give the car back a month later. Let me mull it over but you are right I am sure.

Ok so before I pull the trigger here I am going to need some advice after some errors on the quote I got it was little higher that 1st quoted so what I have is $685/month for 15,000 miles/yr with all up front of about $4100ish.

I spoke the sales manager of my current dealership and he was able to get it rock bottom $730 which is $20 less than the sales rep was able to do. The sales manager can't figure out how anyone can do $685 or lower. He said he can see $5-$10/month difference but $45 he just can't fathom and couldn't figure out how they are doing it. He was very sincere and said he does not want to lose my business but just can't go anywhere near that number.

So I am just trying to figure out how this other place and even that place with the Ebay ad who has it for lower are able to get the payment so low? Are they forgetting to include tires? haa I just want to make sure I am not getting swindled here.

Thanks.

Diesel.

I told you at the begining. Companies like Grand Prix, VIP, Easy leasing, use corporate fleet discount, which is $3,000 on each car. That is why you have better deal. Don't worry...My difference was $50 when I got my deal.
What is the actual dealer you getting your car from ? Somewhere in NJ ? How many months ?
What packages and options ?

NJ yes because I saw the email he fwd me from the dealer in NJ and yes 39 months. Ralph said he can do even better if I qualify for Fleet Discount through my real estate company but no one seems to know, I have to call corporate or even the NAR (National Associate of Realtors) but not sure how I can get another fleet discount when ones already being applied.

2010 E350 4matic. Black/Black, P01, 321-sport package with the 18 inch 5 spoke sport wheels code R96.The only other item is the Black Ash Wood Trim, code 736.

PS... my drive off is like $500 cheaper the guys in NJ than my dealer.

EDIT: MSRP is $55,925.. sales price is probably around $52,000'ish I am guessing.

Remember the old adage?? "If it sounds too good to be true its not" I would never take anyone on E Bay as an authority or for that matter even trust them.

I'm a newbie when it comes to leases (coming to the end of my first one) but just thought I'd ask one question: what leasing company?

My dealer sc***ed me royally by using US Bank and I'm just now reading horror stories about turning in the car (so much so that I might just buy it because my mileage is so low I can probably make a few bucks). I understand people complain about all sorts of things but these stories sound genuine. So are these leases with MB themselves or with a separate bank?

Again, asking because I need to get another car and am getting scared off leasing altogether.

I've got friends who used US bank as leasing company and they did not have any prob to return the car. Why are you so scared ?

Scared? No, just wary. Exactly why do you believe that US Bank customers shouldn't be careful about lease return problems? Because "you've got friends" who didn't experience them?

The Internet (the very same Internet on which we both post) is rife with complaints about US Bank using "excess wear and tear" fees as a novel profit center. Now it is possible that this is par for the course and there is a similar volume of horror stories about other leasing companies, but I haven't seen them yet. I have seen http://www.complaintsboard.com/compl...t=datea&page=1

Ussualy, before you return your car - there should be inspection, which tells you what should be fixed. According to this report you have a choice to pay fees to the leasing company or to do it by yourself, which always cost less. My BMW bank inspector sent me report with $3,800 charge and it cost me $400 to fix it. Call to US Bank and ask them about end of lease procedure rules and ispection before returning your car.
Good luck.

So basically these corporate fleet discounts will have us paying monthly to US Bank or smilar and NOT Mercedes Benz Financial?

Also in terms of returing a lease, most of the leases I have returned were 3-12 months before the lease was up. When I had an Acura I brought it to Mercedes and they took it 12 months before the lease was up, doesnt that work with any car? They just look up the value and see what condition mine is and a wholesler just buys it, can we not do that with a Mercedes? Sorry for being confused here.

Thank you. I think I'll need it.

Again, reliability of information on the Internet varies greatly. If the posts I linked to are to be believed, however, US Bank doesn't make it so easy to determine exactly what you owe nor what you need to repair to avoid charges. There are stories (again, anecdotal) of people being billed months or years after they turned the car in.

I may just try to avoid all this by buying the car. It really should be a wash as the trade-in value seems to be about the same as the residual (I don't have an inflated residual) so I could probably just trade it in on my next car. Or I could try to sell it privately as there seem to be few 2007 E63s in my neck of the woods with < 13000 miles on them.

Ok I did all my research and I am going to move forward. Picking up the car Thursday or Friday. This DOES go through Mercedes Benz Financial, the sales manager said those other banks are out of business so no issues with getting banged over the head when I give the car back after 39 months. Here one last time is the breakdown.

2010 E350 4matic.
Black/Black MB Tex
P01 premium package
321-sport package with the 18 inch 5 spoke sport wheels not the stock 5 spoke and not the 6 spoke AMG's which I do not like (shame).
Black Ash Wood Trim
MSRP: $55,925

$685/month
15,000 miles
39 months
No money down just taxes and fees up front, they waive the $595 deposition fee.
$4,000 out of pocket which includes 1st months payment.

They are going to have the car tinted at pretty much cost ($200) which really helps me a lot and easier than me getting the car, taking it to a tint shop which is a pain then hoping they do not scratch the car. My local dealership will NOT tint the car the 35% only 50% and want like $500 plus.

My dealership that I really like a lot and on good terms with everyone there and the sales manager cannot at all come close to these numbers and they are really bummed out but at the end of the day they are $45 more per month and $500 more out of pocket when I get the car so that is like $2300 over 39 months plus saving $300 on the tint. Shame I can’t get the car from them but $2,600 is significant. Funny thing, as I write this I am looking at the mail and my local MB sent another "Your Lease is Due Soon" letter and offering $729/month all fees up front which as I said is approx $4500 but this is only for 7500/miles a year! CRAZY.

Reason I did not wait until spring which was really my original plan. I was hoping for better deals in the spring and maybe any bugs on the early build cars would be fixed but I need new tires ASAP so $1,000 at least, if I wait until my lease is up I will get hit for $500-$750 for being over on the miles. I will probably need breaks too so I can’t see dropping $2,000+ now just to use my car for 3 more months so I think at the end of the day the numbers make sense for me to get the car now.

My sales rep was outstanding, PM me for his info. I want to give him as much business as possible.

Will take photo’s by the weekend.
