But check the AMG forums and you'll see lots of posts about going back to stock size rims after running 20s.

Unsprung weight is huge factor, too. Quality lightweight 19s would be max if you do care about chassis issues.
Not disagreeing with you but if we were all rolling AMG, we might care more about upsprung weight and optimal wheelsize and whatnot...

You dont have to like it but be nice.

I personally like them alot. I think they look great on that car and great with that color. I think they are not too far off from some of the more aggresive looking AMGs wheels.

As for 20s, I just put them on our Black W212, see below, sorry for the small photo. Even though its not lowered, the 20s really fit the car well. They dont look oversized. 18s that came on the car to me make the car look puny. The wheel itself is nice but its too small for the car and tucked way too far in the wells. The ride is still great but handling and tracking down the road is much improved. I didnt chose a high priced lightweight Forged wheel, which if you are worried about weight, you should go in that direction. Mine our Concept One, mid priced wheels, great look, great fitment and the finish is really nice and easy to keep clean. Granted my preference would have been 19s but I was concerned the overall look wouldnt change much from the 18s. As always it just depends on the wheel. If we could test fit like 10 to 20 different wheels, tires, then we would be set but we have to wait until more people install them to decide what we like or dont like.

Part 2

Look at EME247s wh wheels. To me his are the perfect wheels but to each his own. First they are AMGs, they color match the car. I really like the star type wheels, I like the rivets and I think on that wheel its a two peice.

The style is more of a flush faced wheel, which when flush has the appearance of being larger. When you have a deep or deeper dish wheel in the rear, the wheel might be a 20 but because of depth appears smaller. Take a 20 inch flush face wheel lke the S-Class AMGs and look how big they appear.

After I bought mine, then I saw his car and wished I would have checked further into AMGs but I am still very happy with what I have.
