I think my sales guy told me that the Command system will play video but only when the car is either stationary or moving very slowly.

Yes you can but you have to have the iPod Video Interface Kit installed in the car. If you don't have this kit you can only listen to music from your iPod.

According to the MB website the kit costs $480 and I'm pretty sure it can be installed aftermarket by your dealer. Go to the MB website, start to build an E-Class and its the first option under the Accessories tab.

I looked into it and decide not to get it. There is no point. It cost almost $500...and it says it will play videos, but all controls will come from steering wheel - the way it was with my 2008 E class IPod. You control it from steering wheel, which is very inconvenient. So...spend $500 for cable...$300-$400 for bypass to play the VIDEO while driving and after this control it from steering wheel on a leased car ??? I'm too greedy for that manipulation )
