I fear I am opening up a Pandora's box with this post...

I don't even know if there's time to change the color of the car I ordered, as it's due for assembly Dec14-15, but here goes...

I ordered Steel Grey, but Iridium Silver and Black are still haunting me. I want the car to exude a sportier/younger flair overall...

Any thoughts?

how old are you? Personally I would go with black and than silver.. Not a big fan of the grey. Good luck!

I'd say Black and then Grey. Not a big fan of silver.

Although White actually looks outstanding, especially with the Pano roof.

I had the same dilemma. All of our german cars (audi, mercedes) had been silver. I wanted black this time around and my wife was not ready to commit to the maintenance required with black, so we compromised on steel grey.

I couldn't be happier with it, I think it looks great.

I think Steel Grey is sexy but then again i am biased since my car now is ................ Steel Grey if i had to choose a color for the new E i think it'd either be Black or White but not for nothing whichever color you do get i think you really can't go wrong since it's a sexy ride whichever way you decide

I bought White, but I agonized, and I mean agonized over white vs. black, and let the fact that I had not had a white car in the last 11 years break the tie, (and the fact that I just loved the way the natural beige leather interior went w/ the white paint)but man that black is something else. If I didn't have the white one I just bought, I'd definitely have black.

A lttle bit off-topic but you guys may be able to help. I am about to order a W212. already know its going to be a Black on Black but cant decide whether to go for Sport or Avantgarde (Luxury). I keep changing my mind everyday and its getting nearer the date I put down my deposit. It was Sport until I saw the Luxury version posted by DHI and now its Luxury and I know i,ll still chage my mind before the day runs out. The Sport costs £1500 more than the Lux and it only comes with Microfiber/ MBTex seats and aluminium interior trim, which i dont like. The wheels are also bigger which increases the CO2 emissions. On the other hand the Lux has full leather interior and black ash wood trim and less CO2 but I am not vey sure about the rear bumper with the Chrome trim. Do you guys notice a big difference between the rear bumpers of the two? I am 32, do you guys think the Lux will be ok or should I go for the sport which looks like it is marketed for younger people?

Is CO2 emissions really so important to you ? I'd go with Sport. You have another option. Buy luxury and change wheels and tires to more agresive, so it will look like sport...
