2010 E 550 Sedan 4matic
After much research and test driving both, I went to dealer to buy the coupe and ended up buying sedan after test driving both again. I think the Coupe is better looking. But the size esp in the back seat was an issue. The coupe backseats (only 2 of them since a panel fills middle) are very small and hard to get into and out of. Also the width for driver is also a bit smaller on coupe. And for some reason the sedan looked better in person than in the pictures (though I still think the coupe looks cooler). Handling of both was good (I got E550 4matic which has plenty of power for me). Also coupe doesn't come in 4 matic. I got the white with the black pano sunroof which I think is a cool color combo.

Vapers' comments are bang-on !
Coupe is more photogenic. Sedan is very nice in person.
The clincher for me...
Coupe rear seat room is ridiculously small even for someone that is ready to compromise without foregoing rear seating all together.
The coupe also lacks 4matic which may be of consideration.

I found a big difference between the two cars. I thought the four door's ride was much better. That may be because the wheel base is 5" longer. However the the deal breaker for me was 4Matic wich is not available on the coupe.
