I really suggest the adapter I have - listed above. Anyone in this forum driving an E W212 can afford the cost. It works seamlessly even with an iPhone 5 - my phone never comes out of my pocket.

sirius radio
You can listen to Sirius radio even if your subscription has expired. But the catch is you can listen to only one channel you choose. If you change switch the channel you will get into the preview mode like you have it right now. To activate your one channel, you need to go to the engineering mode.

Yes, that is correct. And there is a big number of stations you can choose from. But don't change the station, since you will lose this station and switch to the preview mode.

Actually, never mind my previous post. You can have 60 channels or so and you can change them the way you want and no hack are needed (I think it's a standard feature on every car equipped with satellite radio).

Tired the Bluetooth phone with a note 3 and it worked perfectly.
reconnects after a restart. So I guess its something with my phone.
no worries, as I am expecting the note 3 this week.

I had those 60 channels for 2 days and now they are gone all of a sudden. I didn't do anything special, was just browsing my engineering mode and got into audio option, where I selected satellite radio and, to my great surprise, it started to work. Well, now it doesn't work. I really liked the jazz radio there (watercolors).

Where in the engineering mode menu?

BT Audio stream
It won't work on my 2012 GLK. I tried turning on BT in engineering menu, resetting and nothing. Is there something else I'm missing? BTW I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

You can however override that function by installing a device such as this:

I installed it in my car and it was simple to do. This version goes in the passenger side foot well area so you don't need to remove the radio from the dash.

Judging by your model year , there is no way you can turn it on unless you upgrade your Comand version 4.0 to NTG 4.5 .
Still , when you touch one of the climate control unit buttons you can be able to see A/C display for a limited time only .

Alright guys I'll do my best at this... (BT=Bluetooth)
-End Call + # + 1: opens Engineering Mode
- HU Settings
- HU Parameter
(the following are the settings I put them in)
(1) BT contact plate: Not Installed
(2) LCT: Installed
(3) BT audio: On
(4) Audio Aux: Off (greyed out: not an option)
(5) Video Aux: Off
(6) Navi: installed
(7) BT: on
-back buttonx2
-pull command wheel down
- system reset
- reset - yes
- go to audio, then go to the audio tab again to bring up the drop down menu of audio options, select BT audio and activating audio device comes up, then the audio streaming screen
I have included screen shots of all the important steps (sorry for the poor quality but it was night time and the flash on my phone kept going off) Let me know if I need to clairfy ne thing.

You can use voice to input address while driving, and on the 2014 you can say the whole address at once, like "123 Main Street, San Francisco" without inputting city / street / house number separately. I have tried it a few times, and it actually worked very well.

Having issue with dealerships and COMAND upgrade
I have a 2010 E350 and I did the hack to get the BT to work; it works when I de-authorize my iPhone 5 and re-enable it like everyone else in this thread. I contacted two different dealers (MB of Fayetteville and MB of Cary) and both of them said that there's no update to the COMAND for my car. Has anyone else had this same problem with getting the dealer to do the update? I had one SM say that he can't just arbitrarily update my system because I want it updated, is this the case? Thanks in advance

Is there any way to set a default city like you can for state? Is there a way to correct the street after you've selected one? I keep having to go back to the beginning and enter the city again.

As qtip mentioned you can enter in an address while moving by using the voice command, but not with the command click wheel.
You can however override that function by installing a device such as this:
