Hi Guys
After much decision making I went with the 2010 E3504matic sport
Liked the Black wood and car just looks very nice in all black
Now that I have it I like the slightly stiffer suspension which does make the car handle better than my 2006 did. Thanks for everyones input on that
Now onto my latest problem any siuggestions appreceiated.
After having a great new years get away about 5 minutes from home I had to swerve to avoid someone doing 5mph hour on the parkway.
I hit the curb or drain on the parkway lip and ripped a hole in my tire and bent the rim. Can the rims be banged out or once bent are they done????
Is there anyplace other than mercedes to purchase original tire and rim
and what do you think cost is for a new tire and rim from MB
I am in the NY area on long island
thanks

I would say the rim is about $800 from MB just because they can. I would buy the tire from Tire Rack and have it sent to an authorized tire rack dealer in your area. I would also recommend having MB check your alignment.
Sorry to see that happen on your new MB.

Search E-bay...you may find it there. I've seen original wheels and tires package for $1399 for 4.
I had the same problem with my previous car...and I bought aftermarket (NDS ins.) tire and rim insurance..at that time it was $380..now it cost about $600. Totally paid off. I changed 4 tires during my 2 years lease. Each cost about $240...
If your car is less than 1 month old - pm me and I'll give you phone number in Brooklyn where to get it.

I have had several rims straightened with success. My last 550 had two bent right rims due to a pothole, for $80 a rim they straightened them and the rims balanced just like stock. You could not tell the difference when driving. As far as the tire goes, check your local tire shop- just make sure the have a Hunter road force balancing machine...
