E350 CDI Estate arrived - Crappy weather, crappy cam...
Ok, now it's here, and it really perfect weather to get a new car . We'll have a quite serious snow storm coming in this night...
The car is amazing. All the features, command, H/K and so on. Also the ride is very quiet and the diesel has very good consumption figures, most importantly it's very very strong.
I'll post better pics when the wether is better and I have a better camera with me.
If someone is interested, I have Continental WinterContact TS830 snow tires (245/45-17) on Mercedes Incenio Gulshorn wheels. And so far they are performing very well, it was the tire that I figured would perform best for me, very good in snow and still sporty and good performing on dry roads.

Thanks DHI! One very strange thing is that I ordered my car with 7 tinted rear windows from the factory, and they forgot to have one tinted (left rear side). My dealer said that it wasn't correct from factory, but I'm having a hard time believing that... I think something has happened during transport and that they have changed to a non tinted window during on...

Wow, I think you're the first Wagon owner to post anywhere!
Looks nice and cool with all the snow around it.
I'm not a Wagon guy by any means, but I gotta say this is the first time EVER that I have found a Wagon to look a lot better than the Sedan version, the lines and whole look/theme of the 212 IMO works better in Wagon form.
Has a very utilitarian vibe, mixed with the aggressive looks.

It's the "R" Class.
I actually had said that when I first saw the car, and agree, the window shape and elements of the profile look like the R-Class. All in all the R-Class is hideous, and the 212 Wagon is obviously far nicer, so whatever they did with it worked over that fail of a Mercedes "Minivan". Sometimes I don't know what M-B are thinking....

response ? Is the turbo lag significant ?
I had a E320 Bluetec and sold it after two years; the turbo lag was very frustrating at times.
It is my understanding that the upcoming E350 Bluetec (North American version) will have the exact same engine with no change in horsepower or torque from the E320 Bluetec (both with the V6, single turbo engine).
The 335d engine is a much better performer with its twin turbo; more power, more torque, far less turbo lag and much better fuel economy.

ipp, I know you hate me but I still like your Estate.
A lot of people I know are waiting for MBUSA to announce if they will import the E63 Estate. They still don't know yet.
I think the W212 Estate looks 100x better than the Saloon. I like the Estate in the sneaky and stealthy AMG 6.2 liter version. I'd probably get one if it arrived here. The M5 was never available as an Estate here in the US.
Congrats on the new ride.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
