Here are a couple of pics. The lens is held in by a plastic bracket that is on a hinge. I circled the piece you have to undo in order for the bracket to unhinge. The second picture is of the bracket 'open.' The bracket can actually come completely separate from the lens. Hopefully these pictures help. Sorry they are alittle blurry, but I think you should get the idea.

No, the middle part is like a pin, u'll have to pull it out to take the larger pin (bigger circlular thing) out.

removing them is a PITA! but on a white car like yours, clear is the way to go.
For me i just masked off the marker and painted it on! :-) It saved me so much time! And I didn't have the chance of breaking it either.
