Bluetooth/Blackberry Bold
My wife is at last getting around to update her T Mobile phone with one that is compatable with the Bluetooth in our new E Class. She has zeroed in on the T Mobile Blackberry Bold.
Has anyone here had experience with this phone pairing with the Bluetooth in the W212 and also the ability to download the address book.
She wants to take care of this on Monday so I would appreciate any comments before then.
Thanks!

Both me and my wife using BB Bold 9700 in her W212 E350 for about 5 months now.
Was easy to pair using External Authorization (you make the phone search for the car's BT), address book download was fast and without any issues.

Thank you very much!! However I am not familiar with the "external Authorization" method. Is this the normal way of pairing as I did for my I Phone?? Would it be possible for you to walk me thru it step by step?? Is your carrier for the Blackberry T Mobile??

To pair BT device with the car you can:
1. Make your car search for the phone
2. Make your phone search for the car's BT connection.
Here is a video that has both connection methods described in detail (2009 COMAND is almost identical to 2010) - please check it out and let me know if this is enough info:

My wireless carrier is AT&T...

Thanks again. Looks pretty simple on the video. Will get the phone on Monday and give it a try. I am wondering though if the Blackberry Bold from ATT is the same as the one we will get from T Mobile as so far as the bluetooth is concerned. My thoughts are that it should be.
