![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Hey guys,
Has anyone experienced a "stuck" gas flap door?
Yesterday, after filling up normally, I screwed the cap back on as usual until the click and went to close the flap door. No matter how I tried, the door would not lock into place. On closer inspection, the little plunger perpendicular to the door seems to work normally. However, it is not clear to me what part of the door mechanism (that stopped working) actually keeps the door locked in place.
Thanks.

Update-
Spent some time with owners manual. I worked the manual release mechanism from the trunk and sprayed silicone into the lock mechanism. Turns out, the problem actually is actually the plunger mechanism that 'pops' the door out. It requires too much force when the door is closed to 'pop' it out. Is there any way to adjust the pressure?
