Speed Dial?
OK, I'm slightly stunned. I tried to setup a speed dial number in my W212-P2, and found no easy manner to do so. All I want is to have a handful of numbers ready for me to dial quickly.
Quickest way I've found so far is:
1. Press voice command button on steering wheel
2. Say "Dial Name"
3. Say "Home"
4. Say "One" to select the first of two entries
Is there a better way?

Use it the same way you use your phone for speed dial.
1. Press phone button.
2. Press desired number on a right side of command screen for speed dial and hold it. ( like 1 for voicemail ussualy).
Listen what's gonna happen.
