Canada E350 4matic - door trim + tire setup
Hi,, my Canadian E350 4matic with AMG sport package was produced in March/2010... I have 2 question :
1, my door handle was 100% in body color.. I observed most W212 have chrome decoration on the door handle ? Not sure if MB missed my car or just because I did not order the "real Leather" ?
2, What is the correct tire pressure ? it come with Continental tire in 245/40/18.. The fuel door print as "normal" 32Fr/33Rr... or "full load" 36Fr/42Rr.. Most of the time I am one man in the car and never drive more than 150km..
Also, with my car come with 18" AMG wheel package.. Can I fit 17' x 8" wheel for Winter ? I have a set of 225/50/17 Michelin Pilot Alpine PA3s... I plan to fit those for my E... I believe the diameter is same as 245/40/18... I am worry change from 245 to 225 ? any experience ?
You suggestion or ideas will be highly appreciated !

The overall diameter of your winter tires is very, very close to stock. (less than .6% difference)
You would be ok with that. The narrower tire may not look as good but for winter, they will be fantastic. There are 17" oem benz wheels for the W212.

If you don't have KEYLESS GO (part of the Premium Package), you don't get the chrome door handle appliques.
