Question US Delivery ETA?

My dealer informed me that my E550 just hit the water yesterday in transit to the port in Baltimore. Anyone have an idea of how long it will take to reach Baltimore and then clear customs to be shipped to my dealer in Ohio?????

You will see your car in about 3 to 4 weeks.

My W212 arrived at the Baltimore port this past Saturday and is now in route to the dealer. It was loaded on the car transport yesterday!

I have been informed my 2011 E-550 is "on the boat" now.

E550
I finally received confirmation that my 2011 E550 was produced on June 09. It will be in Halifax (Canada) on June 28. It will spend up to a week getting on a train, 3 weeks on the train to get to Vancouver and a few more days to get to the dealer.

This means that if all goes well I should get my car early August. I ordered it in mid April as a 2010 but chose to wait a couple extra weeks for a 2011 (it feels like forever to get this car).

Interesting that it takes more time to get across Canada that it takes to get from Germany to Canada.

I can totally relate! Mine arrives in Port June 24th. I'll let you know when I get an update as to when I take delivery. Enjoy!

Sounds like they are on the same boat, just getting off at different stops.

Well, you can thank CN Rail for the SLOW train to Vancouver.
Their service is pathetic, so much so, many dealers have been asking for direct ocean transport to Vancouver from Germany. The Western US dealers receive their MBs from direct shipments to LA and Portland.
