HTC Eris problems

Hello to all,

I just picked up a 2010 E550W4 last week and am experiencing problems pairing my HTC Eris (running Android 2.1). It seems to be pairing but ultimately does not connect. I've tried both initiating from the car and from the phone to no avail. The deal is that the same phone pairs and connects real nicely with a 2010 GL450.

Any thoughts? I would appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks,

Denis

So I was able to roll-back to Android 1.5 and am able to pair/connect with the car. But now it seems that the only way to transfer contacts from the phone to the car is via a memory card as bluetooth transfer of the contact file is not supported under Android 1.5!

All is good for now as I transferred all my contacts via the PCMCIA slot!

FYI, Verizon's latest software update still does not pair with the W212.
