Just got my 2010 E350 and some questions
1.) Is it only me that was a little disappointed in the start button?
a.) it's a snap in
b.) I haven't looked at night, but it doesn't seem to light up.
c.) it's a snap in
2.) What are the squares on the front bumper under my headlights for? I'm not talking about the tow hook plugs, but the larger ones under my headlights. I thought they might be some sprayers or something, but I am unaware of that feature for my car.
3.) Do you find that the lights for the turn signal on the dash cluster is blocked by your steering wheel unless you have your steering wheel super high?
Besides those gripes, I love this car!

Yes it is a snap in for a reason. You can pop the button off and put the key in and start that car that way in case when the button doesn't work. This was designed intentionally like this.

Yeah I know. In our Acura TL, there's a nice start button and a place for you to insert your key in the event you have to do this. So it's a trade off as is everything in life right?

IMHO I think MB's design is pretty smart. I'd rather have a snap-in that can be removed for key-starting, rather than a permanent button and a separate key hole somewhere else in the car.

Not sure on the W212, but when we had our W204 I remember reading on that thread where every 10th or so action of the windshield washer sprayers will squirt the headlights. I'm not for sure and I'm sure someone that knows will correct me but that's what I recall.

That's pretty lame.
I don't see how or why they'd be connected to each other at all. On my W220, the washers had their own button.

I miss the days when luxory cars actually had wipers on the headlights. Even the 1996 Isuzu Trooper Limited that I owned had them. MB would be better off getting rid of the headlight washers that are worthless so I don't have to look at the ugly covers on my 60k car.
