Boomerang

I got boomerang tracking when I bought my car here in Toronto. Boomerang is a tracking system for car theft and it seems working good. However, I have a few questions if anybody is using boomerang tracking:
1. Is there a need for registration? if yes, where and how?
2. What is the role of the keychain piece? Should I carry it all the time? What if I want to put the car in the garage and leave town for vacation?

I asked these questions from salesperson but he didn't have all answers. Can anybody help me. Thanks in advance.

OK, I found the answers. When you buy the system, the dealer will send the info to Boomerange and they will send a confirmation to you. The keychain piece is called Boomerang Alert and it is a quick way to identify an unauthorized movement of the car. If the car is moved and the keychain piece is not present, then a signal will identify the issue and tracking will start. Seems to be a very quick way to track stolen car. You may visit them at boomerangtracking.ca. Thanks
