It is now confirmed. My car arrives in Halifax NS Monday. My dealer tells me I should have it the following Tuesday. The dealership also gave me a print out of MY 11 changes. The only thing different from what has already been dicussed in other threads are the following:

.Revised COMAND programming- head unit switches on when in reverse gear(with rear-view camera installed).

.revised rear seat headrests-tilt function deleted

.Revised interior rear-view mirror

.Revised rear-view camera(less fish eye)delayed Sept. production

Basivally there are no changes on MY 11 E350. Also most of the small changes won't appear until Sept production. There was no mention of 3D on the COMAND screen, so I don't expect to see it.

If you are driving a 2010, the only real improvement is the rear-view mirror. They probably corrected the software that caused the loss of codes. If you have a faulty one they will replace it with this newer version.

Ah, so perhaps what is what they did with the rear view mirror.

Well, fortunately mine works flawlessly. My W211's sucked, I'd have to sit there for 5 minutes pushing it sometimes before it engaged.

My W212's works from a distance, and every time, plus the buttons feel better "screwed in" and more quality.

I heard (and checked) that you cannot get the $0 Sport Package unless you get the $7xx Wheel Package anymore? I checked MBUSA (U.S Spec I'm talking about fyi) and that seems to be the case.

  • The AMG wheel package / 3 spoke steering wheel cannot be added ala carte, you must also add the Drivers Assist Package with distronic plus; blind spot assist, and lane keeping assist.
  • P2 package price increased by $100 to $6450
  • Rear "side window" sunblinds are claimed available as a P1 option, but the picture shown is for the rear window power shade. Is this an error?
Can anyone confirm my observations?

Thanks in advance.

The wheel package does not require the Driver Assist Package. This is an error on the site.
Side window blinds are in P1 in the Wagon and a special order option on the Sedan.
P1 on the sedan includes the rear sunshade, not the side window blinds. Hope this helps
