help -with order
Hey People,
I am in the process of ordering a custom made 2011 Merc. Convertible E350.
But i need some help onn options and configurations.. heres what i have got..
external color- Red
interior color - black leather , black trims
i am gettign the AMG package and Air cap package.
I have also requested the Harmon Kardon system. but without the dvd interchnager and no navigation.
here is where i need advise..
1. COMAND with MP3-compatible 6-disc DVD changer and SD memory slot - is this that standard system that comes in this car ..if not is it worth it to go for this option?
2. AMG PACKAGE - Does it include the dynamic handling package?
3. Is the red black color combination the best out their? since i am custom building the car any other recommendations.
I have only seen the 1 demo car and my car is going to be the second cabriolet that hits the market in my country..so i need help..
4. Is blind spot assist any good?
Any recommendations on any options is welcome..

Option packages differ from country to country. In the U.S. the P1 package consists of:
Airscarf
Command System with Hard Drive Navigation
HD Radio
iPod/Mp3 media interface
Sirius Radio
Bluetooth hands free calling
Enhanced Voice Control
Harman/Kardon Surround System
6GB hard drive with Music Register
Rear View Camera
Heated Front Seats
So, if you order the P1 package it might end up being cheaper than getting just certain items from the package separately. Also, the Aircap system that you mentioned is standard on all E Cabriolets, you might have been thinking of the Airscarf option.
If your going for the sporty look you might want to look into the Appearance Package. It may be called the AMG package in your country as you mentioned. For the U.S. it consists of:
18 Inch AMG 5 Spoke Wheels
Agility Control Suspension
Multi-Contour Front Seats
Stainless Steel Pedals with Rubber Studs
Shift Paddles
Perforated front brake discs with painted calipers
