Looking to lease an E 350 Question

M-B seems to be trying to make every W212 look nearly identical to each other. That's my only real criticism of the W212, at least that actually bothers me.
The pre F.L W211 had like 3 different designations, that each had different body styling, fogs, wheels, etc. etc.

I guess the duel fog ppl will have the exclusive rare look.. lol
What is MB thinking ? Hey, KA, do you see alot of 212s where you live?
There are plenty by me and every 1 has it in white!!!!!!
lolAlso, you ever consider removing the chrome strips on the doors? Im thinking about it..

And yes, White is definitely the most popular color, literally!!

Yeah, I thought about it, I actually like a little tasteful chrome, so I'm probably gonna leave it, but if you dig it, then go for it. It's these little "mods" that you gotta do, to personalize yours from the crowds (without spending lots of mod money, lol).
I just wish M-B didn't ***** out the AMG Package, so at least you can pay a little premium to have a "different" version than the masses. I was hoping at least the LED's would separate mine from the crowds a bit, but now, M-B ain't letting that happen, lol. Looks like the double fogs indeed will be the rarities.

One good thing is, I've finally started seeing more "Luxury" versions on the road, so hopefully that could help even things out, and keep the AMG Packaged ones able to hold the visual impact they're supposed to.

I would shop the 2011 model also if you are leasing. The residual will be higher and that may offset the larger discount on the 2010. You should consider taking the sport package also. It is a no charge option and gives you 18"wheels, sport suspension and and a nicer, sportier exterior trim.

I with M-B would charge $4K for it again.
All Sport Package cars have 18" wheels, luxury model has 17". The $750.00 option is the AMG wheel on the SP.

They say it is free, but it is merely marketing.
It's like BMW and VW's "free maintenance." It ain't free; you pay for it when you purchase the car. It's just built into the price of the car.
BTW, I much prefer the four round fog/DRL's on my car to the "hockey stick" LED's.

I agree with you on a cost basis both cars would be the same or very close. However going back a few years it was quite an expensive upgrade for the AMG SP. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes optional at a later date. In Canada the SP was free on the coupe originally and now it is optional. It's a matter of preference and that is what I was expressing to the OP. In my case the point is moot. The W212 is not offered in the luxury model in Canada nor are the four round fog lights.

Congratulations on the new car; think you will be happy with it. Studying/learning the COMAND manual was as bad as taking a course.
Got mine last November using the USAA discount. Got same options in Paladium Silver with gray interior.
