2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 4matic
Welcome Me

Hi Guys/Gals,

I am a proud new owner of a slightly used 2010 E350 4Matic. The car only has 800 miles and everything checks out via carfax/autocheck.

This is my first MB ever and am stoked about driving this fine german automobile.

The specs are as follows:-

E350W4 $51,100
650 Arctic White
264 Natural Beige Leather $1,590
P02 P02 Premium Package: COMAND with 40GB Ha $6,350
P17 : Control code
P35 : Lighting Package
049 : iPod/MP3 Media Interface Cable
218 : Rear View Camera
512 : COMAND w/Navigation and Voice Control
518 : iPod/MP3 Media Interface
536 : SIRIUS Satellite Radio
540 : Power Rear-Window Sunshade
600 : Headlamp Washing System
608 : Intelligent Highbeam Control
615 : Bi-Xenon Active Light System
619 : Cornering Lights
810 : harman/kardon Sound System w/Dolby 5.1
873 : Heated Front Seats
881 : Electronic Trunk Closer
889 : KEYLESS-GO
R08 R08 Wheel Package: 18" AMG Twin 6-Spoke $750
277 : Sport Steering Wheel
781 : 18" AMG 6-twin-spoke wheel
129 Accessory Styling Package (Rear Deck and $600
230 PARKTRONIC with Parking Guidance $950
293 Rear Side Airbags
321 321 Sport Package: 18" 5-Spoke Wheels wi
V04 : Tire Rating
51U : Black Roof Liner
677 : Sport Suspension
772 : Sport Bodystyling
951 : Appearance Code
954 : Avant Garde Package (Sport)
413 Panorama Sunroof $1,070
736 Black Ash Wood Trim

SUBTOTAL $62,410
DESTINATION & DELIVERY $875
TOTAL $63,285

This was not bought at a MB dealership but from another brand dealership. I was able to haggle them down to $48,000 and I am happy with the transaction.

A couple of questions for the more senior/knowledgeable members. What are some of the more popular mods that will make my car look more luxurious NOT ricey. I don't really care about the outside but more so the interior which is where I will be.

What are some of the other popular MB forums? What is the difference between benzworld.org and mbworld.org? I ask because when I signed up for the benzworld.org forum it also signed me to this forum but there are subtle differences like the benzworld has "new member" forum while I don't believe this forum does.

If you have anything positive or negative to share about this w212 model, let me know as I am a novice at the MB world. My first but hopefully not my last!

Thanks in advance guys/gals!

Welcome

There is lots of info available through the search feature for all that you want to do.

For other MB forums, that don't really exist , google is your friend.

Benzworld cannot sign you onto this forum. 2 different entities.

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations, very nicely equipped E350. You will miss Acura navigation, however the rest should make you feel a king, There is a tradition of the forum,, every new comer posts pics of a car.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I have done some research on this site about mods for this car and the only ones I have found is a replacement grill with the star logo on the grill, H&R springs and a hack for navigation so you can play DVD's and override the disabling of the navi while moving. Have I missed others?

Is there a OEM replacement steering made of black wood? I really do like wood steering wheels since I have owned a few Lexus'.

Thanks for that link! I really do despise the amber side markers and my only complaint for this car. I think I'll pair it with some switchback LED's so it would blink amber when activated but are clear when off. Thanks again!

I think you are NSXtl from Acurazine? It is good to be here. I am a fellow Aziner who is jumping ship from the '10 SH-AWD to this car. A lot of headaches and issues with it and the treatment Acura Corporate gave me reminded me why I don't want to give my money to them. It is good to have you here as well and thanks!

Haha, nope not even close to being loaded. It doesn't have the driver assist and night vision stuff. It would be cool to have those and wow my buddies.

I will post pics once I have the car which will be Tuesday.

Thanks!

I'll never say never but I don't think I ever want to own an Acura. I didn't realize how much the TL was not a real luxury car until I had my E350 and the ride was so much more to my taste. No vibrations or noises of any kind. No knocking from the engine and on and on I can go. Granted it cost a lot more money but well worth it.

I would have gone with Black too but the white with the natural beige leather made me drool and I am not a big fan of white cars. Talking about leather, does anybody here find the sports seats to be just a tad bit hard?

I will post pics as soon as the weather clears up and I can detail her. Until then I will post dealer pics now that I have the car.

Sorry for picture overload but this is all I have for now.

Yes, I chose the black ash because it makes the car 2 tone(black and pumpkin) rather than 3 tone, it contrasts well.

Thanks for the welcome. I bet November can't come soon enough for you. Congrats as well!

yeah it looks awesome...your car and it's colors I mean..I went with black/black/black..and yeah, the wait is killer........I read someone else on here mentioning that too......but it enabled me to have it the way I wanted it by ordering it.........
the illuminated door sills seem kind of silly now.....wonder how they'll look in comparison to the rest of the cabin's illumination.......you know, if they'll be really prevalent or not.........
either way, it will be sweet........

hyperion667, there is nothing more sexier than a black/black automobile. If I wasn't so **** I would have had black, a clean black car is no match to any color on a car! The only reason I don't get black interiors is due to to showing wear a little faster(I plan to keep this car a long time) and secondly the heat factor in the summer. Otherwise I'd be all over a Black/Black with black wood. It really will be droooool worthy! Where art thou November....... :-)
