Glue residue on Burl dash from Airbag sticker

Took deliver of my E350 this evening. When I got home I pulled the airbag warning sticker off of the burlwood dash above the glove box.

It left a good amount of glue residue.

What's the best thing to remove this without damaging the burl wood or the gloss finish?

Thanks,

Q

Goo Gone. Perfectly safe. Or just rub the adhesive off with your fingers.

Goo Gone to the rescue. I used this on my visors to remove the airbag stickers. I had a 2008 CLK 350 convertible. The visors looked brand new.

Look for a can of Energine. Great for removing stickers, tape, etc. from wood furniture.

Also removes adhesive from sunvisor stickers.

Cool Thank you, Thank you

About 2-3 weeks after got my car, noticed a couple of scratches on the passenger dash wood when direct sunlight hit it. Didn't show to dealer since I didn't know when they got there. Really upsetting.
Read these posts, tried the Goo Gone-and now they are gone! It was adhesive. Feel a lot better now-so thanks guys.
Interestingly I actually had to take it back for dealer to clean inside windshield where some type of adhesive was still on it. Couldn't get it off with window cleaners.
Think they rushed prepping because I had ordered the car and they wanted me to pick it up (and pay for it).

Um, no. Then who would the warning be for? For the people working at the dealership?

It's like those annoying labels on mattresses and pillows. Do not remove under penalty of the warning label gods.
