Does anyone have any pics of chrome door handles on a black (or dark colored) car?

It would look more luxurious, but personally I hate chrome. I prefer body-colored inserts, which makes the car more sporty. Too much chrome makes the car look cheap, like the new Hyundai luxury sedans.

Are you talking about the OEM chrome "tips" on the door handles that come with the P2 Package (also the same ones that come on previous Benzes before they started cheaping out in that area with the P1 W212's).
That was a big pet-peeve of mine when I got my W212, I couldn't stand the cheap looking "normal" monochromatic handles on the P1 cars, and feel a "Luxury" Mercedes should keep with the little tasteful chrome at the top, like they always did before.
If you're talking about those inserts that you buy to stick into the indentations on the doors, behind the handles, then I'm not big on those.
I agree with you guys about too much chrome, but IMO, a proper Luxo/Premium car needs just the right tasteful amount. Anything less or more, can detract from the cars presence IMO. A VERY fine line.
