No, no -- I was trying to be funny, not sarcastic. Google the phrase "engage hyperdrive" and you'll see lots of references to Star Trek, etc. Sorry if I offended

None taken. I can see where you come from. Not being a Star Trek fan did not help either. I wouldnt be here if I trusted Google for everything. I have learnt so much here and will continue to ask stupid questions. Thanks for responding.

Yep, all is normal. The car does make some odd sounds, like the old pfft, pssst, bweep, etc... Sounds like a miniature version of a train stopping with air brakes....pfffffft. Seems like the thing has a life of its own. Pretty cool to me, just small price to pay for airmatic comfort. My 211 makes some noises too, just figure they are talking to each other, lol.
