i was checking my new headlight i ordered and they are bi-xenon 5000k i would like 6000k but the kits you guys are using some seem to fit my car because there no where for the bulb to stand.

is there a different solution to mine?

(Searching on ebay i found these, those look more like mines, can i install those with any error of any kind?

hmm, i haven't came across phml.. is that a member here.. do u have a link to his post?

also, those bi-xenon you have, are factory, built in ballast that holds the bulb within it.. those bulbs should twist off.. it's nice having factory bi-xenon on cars, all you have to do is buy a different bulb with a different temp..

Hahaha, I had to see if it was like that. I went to the light and took them out with a twist, I will be ordering 6000k lights.

ok, so i got my kit a lil early.. went to my friends house to use his driveway and install them.. right is was easy to access but hard to see how i was locking the bulb in.. left was a bi^%&, but was more easy to lock in place.. didn't remove the wheel, but just turned the wheel to the right to get the tabs out.. also jacked the car up a lil too.. still was a pain to get to tho.. sad thing tho is that when turning them on, they flickered a lil, but they did stay on, but sometimes the left one didnt wanna say on, untill they warmed up a lil bit.. no error message on the dash, but still feel like i need a relay to draw power directly from the batt.. idk, might just buy the expensive one or keep these and add a relay, or a cap. idk about a cap, rather do a relay as long as it doesnt get any errors.. fml.. but it does look good tho.. my friend has a 6k kit on his GS and thats a lot more blue, compared to my 5k.. anyone have used a good quality kit with no errors, no flicker.. also, i'm gonna give mercedes a call soon and ask if theres a coding that can or needs to be done for the comp to recognize its using xenon and not halogen..

In installed my HID kit the other day as well. I took the wheel off and then removed the inner fender so I could have a full grasp on where to mount the ballasts. I used the DDM tuning hid kit. Unforuntately, they don't have the best rep around but they have always worked for me. I had them on my last three cars and never had an issue. To get rid of the error message\flickering I ordered these from Ebay.

I went with 6k but have already ordered the 5k hids. I feel the 6k are too blue for my liking and with the w212 the bottom LED's dim to about 70% when the head lights are on so it really throws the colors off unless someone knows a work around to keep the straight LED bar bright. For the parking lights I ordered

They matched my 6k headlight perfectly and no error.

I just did mine. I bought this one http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3893 6000K 35W and everything fit inside the headlight. No need to drill holes.
