Paint Question E550 '10 Sedan

Picked up a new 2010 model for a deal and traded in my '07 SLK55 AMG. Got to say it's nice to have the space and comfort again but miss the power of the SLK. That said, I washed it for the first time today. Flat black is my color, same as my SLK. Noticed my door handles are metallic, must be the obsidian black. Must be there in error but thought I'd check here first. Does anyone here have flat or jet black? Can you please check your door handles and advise? Hard to see but now I have spotted the difference and the sparkle of the metallic really sticks out.

2010 E550 Sedan
Thanks jmbaker3, I called my sales rep today and he assured me all flat black cars since 2008 come with the obsidian black handles due to scratches and the like. Odd but I guess it'll start looking normal some day. Read another post that the obsidian black is "self-healing" paint...

Is your E550 not broke in? I drove a 07 Slk55 AMG just after I purchased my 550 and was not at all impressed with the power as compared to my E. I then look at the stickers specs and it was down several ponies compared to the E550. Even with size difference the E felt much more responsive off the line.
