HD FM / Sirius/XM radio question.

HD FM / Sirius/XM radio question.
I have XM in my 2007 Tahoe and I know that occasionally I lose my signal, but it seems that the signal complety drops off once in a while in the E350 - the station will go completely silent for a second or two and then come back. Anyone else experiencing this with their satellite radio in 2011 E350/550?
Does anyone experience the HD FM channels sounding a little 'funny' once in a while? Sometimes after putting it on an HD channel about 3-4 seconds after the channel is on the volume drops or quality changes. Anyone else?

XM is much better.

The same... I think radio first receives signal as normal and then checks for HD and receives it as HD. The biggest difference I noticed on AM stations.

Thanks. Do most people just leave the Logic 7 on all the time? Also, I seem to have my Treble turned down about 4-5 lines below center and bass up 2-3 lines above center. What about others?

But...both of them are very good.

I have found sat reception in the w212 to be much better than in previous accura/Toyota/bmws.
I do notice quality changes in hd radio but I presumed due to going in an out of hd reception lock
