One point the article made was that the younger generation has had tremendous influence on car design and offerings over the past years and that fewer cars are being designed for the over 50 demographic. Example is one opinion expressed in the article was that Cadillac's newest offerings were not made to appeal to over 50 demographic. I'm sure there are quite a few over 50's who like the CTS.
Not trying to start an argument, but thought it was interesting article that may show future of some cars.
I'm sure M-B is paying close attention to this for both the cars and getting them serviced by dealerships rather than DIY.

under 50....for now!
Bought my first Benz from my father in law in my 20's, a 420 SEL
My first brand new car was an E55 in my 30's
My latest car is an E63, currently in my 40's
Kinda have a thing for german cars......

First Benz was 03 E320 when 30
Second Benz was 07 ML350
Third Benz was 09 C300
Fourth Benz is 10 ML350 (wife's car)
Fifth Benz is 10 E550
I guess I'm a Benz fan
The E350 is definitely styled young but engineered old, could not make myself buy the 350 had to get the 550 for the engine, not ready to just stop and smell the roses, need a little more get up and go.
