Question Rear Brake Lights

Does anyone know if the brake lights go on when Pre-Safe brake activates or when distronic applies the brake?

Just don't want anyone rear ending me.

Pre-safe is more of a sliding out of control issue, so if the brakes are not applied, no the brake lights do not go on.

With the BAS system it literally moves the brake pedal and YES, the brake lights are on.

This is from experience in the car at the AMG Academy.

"Pre-safe brake" is different than "Pre-safe." I believe that the brake lights do go on when "Pre-safe Brake" activates.

Even with the non-distronic cruise control the break lights goes on when decelerating. (if the breaks are applied)
