Kev-Man...the 550's get all the fun. Seriously, if I could do it again I would go 550 all the way. Had one ordered, couldnt wait any longer and pulled the trigger on my 350-4. Oh well...could be worse, I could still be driving my old Volvo XC-90 (barf). I now have the MB bug...it's contagious.

lol, yeah, it's been a little over four weeks I think.
what brings you to the eastern?
it would be nice to see the country, (what you can on I-40, have not been out west in ages), in your Benz huh? I could understand wanting to
NOT put the miles on too.....would the car fly as well?
never flew a car anywhere before.......

I'm really content with the V6's power, but I think that's just 'cause my driving style is so 'lax for the most part. However, if I was on the market today, I'd be looking at 550's too. When I got mine, the price of Used ones were a bit more than what I wanted to spend, and I was already spending way more on getting into mine than what I had originally planned for.
If I do keep this car for the long haul (buy it after the Lease), then I'd rather avoid the Airmatic though, personally.

120K is fine actually. Also, with the Arnott stuff, it kind of changes the game.
If I don't buy my car after the Lease, and no other cars capture me enough to want to switch out of a W212, I think I'm gonna look into CPO E63's (I ain't dealing with AMG depreciation, lol, although now that I've owned a car since brand new, I kind of like the idea that I know everything about it, and nobody else has "touched" it). It's so far away though, who knows how I'll be feeling then about what's out there, and where my life will be at, etc.

Wow, looks hot! That rear dish really brings out the beefiness of the flanks.
As for the grille question, I think with especially with those "luxury" conveying wheels, the car has a mega mean and stately look going for it, which would go out the window/have the whole balance thrown off with a star face, IMHO.
Oh, and I'd recommend blacking out the amber markers and that baby will look absolutely SINISTER. Very premium and killer vibe going for that ride all around.

KA you wore me down about a week ago on grills ("the car has a mega mean and stately look going for it, which would go out the window/have the whole balance thrown off with a star face" KA), hence I'm staying with the stock grill and upright star. If anyone has a black car and wants a hot grill and hood emblem (new never installed), pm me.

The car really looks perfect as is, it just flows and works! Good choice, and I'm glad I could be of some "wearing", lol. I'm sure you'll get that grille sold in no time, help out your fellow Forum mate people!

Some old photo's brought back to life (I forgot about these, thanks), I responded to your question in another thread but I had an excellent shop in NorCal do the work and have not had any issues nor did I have to do any mods. We did install some MB camber bolts, to stop it from drifting to the right.
