One thing that was so annoying, it would be a deal breaker to me, regarding the F10, was how WIDE the steering wheel "stem" or "hub" was. I'm rail skinny, and and my thighs or knees (whichever area of my leg would come into closest contact with it) kept uncomfortably hitting it. Seems no one else has found that to be an issue though.

Correct me if i am wrong, but, it is my understanding that the W212 E also uses aluminum in the doors, hood, trunk and front fenders. Could be a bad example, but, I did not find the doors of the BMW to be flimsy in any whay...nice solid thunk. As I purchased an E350 Bluetec, I did not spend much time with the BMW or Audi dealrs as they are not offer their diesels in the 5's or A6's. So for me, there was only MB to choose from. I do love my diesels.

I found the Bimmers doors to be solid too. However, I prefer the solidity of the W212's, it has that classic M-B strong "clink" sound that feels and sounds nicer to me than BMW's airer thud.

K-A, have you thought of a career in marketing with MBUSA?

I think they would benefit greatly from my assistance.
