Have you tried to find an independent shop that knows how to do a Service A on a Mercedes? I would call around and check for one you'd trust and continue to use.

About $140 using a coupon from another dealership that they honored

One dealer in CA used to charge $169 for A service in 2013 now they charge $189 in 2015.
no coupons necessary.
