Recent MBenzNL installs?
Anyone recently have Steve mod your 2010 MB E350? What did you get added? I'm especially interested about your experience with adding folding mirrors.

W212 E500, W164 320CDI, W116 450SEL 6.9, W116 450 SEL.
I assume these features didn't come as standard with your cars.
In Australia these features are certainly standard in E350 and E500 models with TV and rear view camera standard in E500.
I am sure that even lesser petrols and disels all come with parktronic and folding mirrors are standard with any car that has a memory drivers seat.

MBUSA seems to equip the cars for sale here with fewer standard features and more of the features being available as options. There are differences in the base equipment packages available for Canadian versus US models as well. Additionally, there are wheels available as factory options in the UK, that are not available at all in the US, for example, the 19" wheel option.
I believe the strategy here seems to be to equip the cars with a range of popular, higher demand option packages, and achieve targeted price points through efficiencies of volume and packaging. In the end, we don't have available to us every option, or even many features as standard, but we get a reasonable range of options to select.
It would be nice to have more individualized selections.
