How hard to lower?
Love my luxury but wish it sat about 3/4" lower. Is this possible and I assume plush ride will be diminished somewhat?? It is my wifes car and she loves it just the way it is and would kill me if I mess it up somehow. Should I just let good enough be good enough?

Yes, you can get lowering springs or full coilovers.
But the ride comfort will be diminished to some extent because it will be stiffer.
If your wife likes it as is, you better not do this lol

Don't do it! She will have you reinstalling the stock springs guaranteed. The Eibach's might be less noticeable and a better ride, but my experience with the H&R's is that it changes the car into a stiff low rider.

I would assume on the 550 this could perhaps be done by software or slight hardware mods, since the struts are air and can already be lowered or jacked up by the touch of two buttons. I find the sport mode not low enough or not stiff enough though. The comfort mode is great and the risen mode is interesting but when you forget you have raised the car it definitely looks weird (well too high).
The 350 has regular spring coil overs with, I think, variable damping. If so I don't know how the coil overs can be changed since the system expects to drive it's own struts and not some third party. If there is no variable damping then it would just be a matter of installing new coil overs.
But there won't be any miracle, if the car is lower that means the coils have less area to travel to absorb the same bumps therefore the spring rate woul be higher, or way more stiff. Unlikely your wife will like it...

To put them together, you line up the front hole and pin of the lower with the front hole of the upper and push the pin in. The upper now pivots on this front pin. push the upper down onto the lower receiver and push the rear pin in.
