Thanks for sharing.

I guess it's nice to know how this car "tracks", for the juvenile statistical geek in all of us.... However, how utterly ridiculous that these guys hammer an E350 Bluetec around a strip like that, instead of doing a proper review, highlighting what this car was intended to do. Car rags don't seem to understand anything other than drag strip and handling.

On a side note, looks like the E350 gas version is a bit faster, despite the Bluetec's Torque advantage. Also, although Diesel sounds have come a long way, sadly, the sound of the motor still urks me a bit.

"Track testing a Diesel is like giving a **** star a math quiz" not my quote but it brought a smile to my face when I read it.

Or to paraphrase Andrew Dice Clay from The Adventures of Ford Fairlane "Track testing a Diesel is like masturbating with a cheese grater; a interesting yet painful experience"

Agreed K-A; a nice review about how the car would have handled in real world traffic and perhaps a few lines about real world gas consumption would have been better than to see how quickly it can get to 60 (on a drag strip).

Kelly Blue Book has a nice review of the GL320 BlueTec where they acually have a nice time-lapse video of them driving around all day. Inside Line should have done something similar with the E BlueTec.
