I flipped and rolled my pop's S500 on a drive to Vegas w/ my parents and wife in the car and I was doing a measly 75-80. Nearly killed my mom.
Never again will I knowingly venture into high speeds. Nowadays when I get into the 80s I start thinking back and start hitting the brake.

Do you think it there would have been a different impact if you were doing 65-70?
Just saying. Highway speeds I avg 75mpg

I am up in the mountains of NorCal, we have some long stretches of highways that at night, there is just you (and probably some critters running around). I have seen 186mph on my GSXR-1000 and hit the governor at 155 on the S55 (now that the governor is gone, I haven't seen over 120ish).

All it takes is that "one" time to lose, or hopefully *almost* lose control during a high speed run, to show you just how vulnerable and not in control you are at those speeds, if sh*t hits the fan.... Regardless of what kind of car you're in.Fastest I've ever been in a car was in a Porsche 911 Turbo X50 (like 10 years ago almost), 180 MPH. I was a passenger, and was scared out of my mind as even though the 911 handled it like a champ, you can just FEEL how close you are to death.
As for myself, I do lots of drives across the desert in this car, and I don't think I've ever even taken it over 100, aside from maybe a quick spurt here or there.

holy smokes 180 is fast! I would have been a bit nervous too eh?
I have not ever been that fast.......wow.....
maybe on some tarmac somwhere, but never in a car.....
I think I would enjoy it now more than I would have 'then'.....
I have had one flying lesson in a cessna, but that was nothing.....

Yeah, it was no joke.... And the speedo was even reaching above 180!
Last time I was in a situation like that it was in my friends GTR. He showed us what it can do up an onramp.... And kept going.... I didn't check to see how fast he got to, 'cause I was too busy yelling at his a$$ to SLOW THE F*** DOWN!!. An adrenaline rush is great and all, but maybe I'm just too old a soul, my life is worth too much to gamble like that.

this is what i got with my E350 and it stop on it bc its electronically governed ...249km=154mph
