Any US Designo Updates?
Apparently come February, MB will have some better Designo options available. About a month back I tried to find some more detailed info, but didn't have much success. Was wondering if any of you might have heard something?

I ordered a 2011 E550-4 on eve of 12-27-10. As the salesman was inputing the build onto the dealership computer system, I saw 4-5 Designo options for my car (no pricing was shown). Those options were not showing on the MBUSA site, but then neither was the 115v power port ...
I suggest you befriend a local salesperson and have them show you the factory build options on their computer.

Thanks man. Don't suppose you remember any more details? In particular, I think Designo exterior paints have been available for quite some time, but it's my understanding that interiors won't be available "until February". But who knows what that means -- can't order til Feb? Can't build til Feb? Can't take delivery til Feb?

Some of the Designo colors are truly atrocious IMO. Since when is brown the new black!! Have you seen the Mocha Black? My favorite new designo color is the Platinum Black Metallic. I have a 2001 e55 in Obsidian black. The Platinum is stunning. Might be my new favorite color. I just bought the Indium grey e550. Love that color as well(despite the fact that there might be a hint of brown in there as well. Looks gun metal to me). The pricing is steep though as it a $2700 option!!
