Wheels options on the 2011 E350 Bluetec

Recently picked up a 2011 E350 Bluetec and was told that I could not get the sport wheels from the gas version due to offset spacing. I get the whole run flat tire / additive tank in the trunk argument but not the spacing.

Can I swap to thie sport rims later if I decide to? Not that the current wheels are horrible, I just like the 5 spoke look better and curious.

Only MBs - the best or nothing
Whoever told you that, have no clue what they're saying.

You can definetely use wheels with tires from any other W212 E sedan/wagon. Look at pages 355-6 in your manual. You can even use wheels from W207 E coupes.

The A/C 207 wheels have different (narrower) widths than the W/S 212. Stick with 212 wheels if you're going OEM.

Thanks for pointing this out, but I know this - I now have both W212 and W207. Wheels, however, will still fit without any problems.

Oh and by the way, "luxury" non-4matic W212 cars in the US (bluetec or not) do come only with 8" wide wheels. So W207 18" OEM sport wheels are at least a "stock" width. But you wouldn't know that. I never open my mouth unless I 100% know what I'm talking about and when it comes to wheels/tires, especially for MB, I know 100% what I'm talking about.

E350 Bluetec wheels

Hey i just picked up a 2011 350 Bluetec, my question is will the 18" x 8.5 and 18" x 9 staggered wheels from a 2011 E550 fit on this car. I realize the run flat issue just concerned about clearance of the 18" Factory wheels and tires.

Thanks if anyone can help
