Has anyone purchased the Weather Tech REAR digital floor mats for their E series?

If so would you recommend them?

The OEM mats are not very impressive.

I purchased them for my GL. I am very DISsatisfied with them. Poor fit, do not clean up easily and poor quality.

I purchased the MB rubber mats for my E550 and they are much better.

Interesting, Texas. I am considering the WT digitals also but might have to reconsider. I currently have my old MB rubber mats from the R-class as a temporary solution (doesnt exactly fit)

Are they any different from the front ones? Weather Tech mats for the front (although not necessarily for the E) generally have very good reviews. Can you comment on the front vs. the rear (are the rear not a good fit compared to the front?)

Also when you say you are unimpressed, in what regard? Fit? Durability?

Mercedes sells 4 floor liners (front and rear) that look just like the weather tech ones, but instead of the WeatherTech label it has a Mercedes-Benz label. Price $250

Try parts.com for the mats. Much cheaper than the dealer, you just need the part #. I just bought the rubber ones for my CLK for $69 through parts.com. Dealer sells them for $110.

The rear weathertech mats are less impressive than the front as far as fit goes (still better than oem), but the front mats are VERY good. I am very happy with mine.

Yes my mats are the digitally cut ones.

The drivers mat fits fine with good coverage.

The front passenger side is very short. It is about 5" shorter than the carpet mat. In other words it doesn't go as far up under the dash. With a cashmere interior, we want coverage.

2nd row mat is a good fit. 3row fit is poor. It does not cover the area that is exposed when the 2nd row is flipped up (actually under the 2nd row passenger seat). That is the area where you step to get to the 3rd row. And there is plenty of clearance under the seat for the mat.

The overall material is thin, but tough. When it soils, the dirt somehow bonds to the mat. I have scrubbed with several cleaners including Simple Green to no avail.

Clearly, I would not purchase again.
