Trading In & Up -
So I'm really tired of my G37s Coupe and it's on a lease with Infiniti Financial Services. I've spoken with Ray Catena Infiniti and they are willing to get me out of this car so as long as I stay in the Ray Catena family of automobiles. I have no issue with that and I know I'm going to take a hit when I get my car back and that difference will get tagged on to the new car but here's the specs...
So it seems that I'll be taking a 5K hit on my car betwene payoff and what they are willing to buy it back for. I want to get into a E350 4Matic w/ Sport & P2. I have a control, or VIP, number as well. Seeing that the MSRP is like 58K for this set-up, I'm hoping that with being a longtime Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz customer, I can get it for a little over invoice + 5K whilst subtracting the VIP discount (which I believe is around 12.25%).
Or am I living in some fantasy world? Do you think this is realistic? If the latter, how much do you think I'll be paying on the E350 say 3K down with a 39 month lease and how much do you actually think I can get that setup for?

#1, never put any money down on a lease. Not a good idea.
#2, if it will cost you $5K to get out of your Infiniti lease, you should wait or look at other options like LeaserTrader or Swapalease.

I would've gone for a Swapalease or LeasTrader route but the problem is that my name is still on the lien or the paperwork or whatever so if the new owner fails to make the payments, then I'm still liable and my credit gets hurt...

Really? I thought lease trader deals fully transferred credit to whoever assumes? Interesting.
