Hi everyone,
I am trying to get BT Audio (a2dp) to work with my mobile phone, altough i can access the engineering menu I don't see the regular options mentioned on the forum. Is it a new version of software?
Let me share some pics...
Thanks in advance,

Hi WWMIndy,
I am from Europe, more specificaly Portugal.
Ihave a 2011 W212 E250 Avangard (the one with straight day lights) and no extras regarding the radio, which is the default Audio 20, without cd changer, UMI or UCI, just the standard aux plug in gloove compartiment.
Cheers,

Yes, I have GPS. All Audio 50 must include GPS I think. Bluetooth is standard for all models but the ipod and usb support you have to choose the media interface extra. I will try to post some pics of my eng mode menu.

Left the car with service for a day to figure it out and picked it up today and BT Audio works great! Was streaming Pandora on the drive home.
Not sure whether they needed to do a software update or just change some setting though... maybe your dealership can get it to work?
BTW, check if your COMAND manual is the latest version... mine had the "2010 Revision A" and got it exchanged for the "2011 Revision B" which has info on the BT Audio.

Recently picked up a 2011 E-class and the BT Audio wasn't available (the option didn't show up in COMAND as per the manual).

mb has been in the process of phasing out the 'good' engineering menu and replacing it with one that only faclitates testing procedures. I believe the audio 20 and 50 were the first to have most of it changed but the command units have most of the the settings still enabled.

w212 ntg4 secret menus
After 2 years playing with the settings on my car i found 3 secret menus
1 = press hang up + * + 7 + 9 (all in the same time for 10 seconds - Dealer menu)
2= hang up +* +# +1 (all the same time for 10 sec - engineer menu)
3= do number 2 engineer menu after you access it press the hang up button again + * +# 4 (you will enter the engineer settings)
please let me know any other menus you find!!! I know for a fact there is a dealer setting menu that has all the car setting including VIM (this is not a joke- I saw in the mb plant with a friend)

Did you ever get the BT streaming to work?
I drive a w212 e-class 2012 in Sweden and have the same menus as you.
